National Symposium

BAETE, IEB organized a National Symposium on “Transforming Education for the Industry: Engineer’s Perspective in Achieving Vision 2041” on 20 April 2024 at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka, 1 Minto Road, Dhaka 1000, Bangladesh.

BAETE is collaborating extensively with academia and industry to equip our engineering graduates for the challenges that lie ahead in realizing Vision 2041. The symposium was organized to ensure convergence between the industry and academia. Mr. Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury M.P., Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Education graced the Opening Ceremony of the National Symposium.

Total 220 participants attended the symposium, including 164 from academia and 56 from industry. Vice Chancellors, Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans, Program Directors, Directors of IQAC and Senior Faculty members from 43 educational institutions of higher learning offering engineering programs as well as Program Evaluators and Members of different BAETE committees were present at the symposium. In addition, Chief Executive Officers and Senior Managers from 52 national and international Industries were also present at the symposium.
